Questions and answers
What are the cutouts made of?
4 mm fluted coroplast (corrugated plastic) with a UV-printed, fade-resistant finish. It is lightweight, rigid and weather-resistant. Table centerpieces are printed on thick foam board.
Can I use them outdoors?
Yes. Coroplast cutouts are made for indoor and outdoor use. Choose Lawn Stakes at checkout and they push straight into grass. Foam-board table centerpieces are for indoor tables.
Do they stand up on their own?
Yes. Pick Indoor Standees for an easel back that stands on floors and tables, or Lawn Stakes for outdoors. Signs only means no hardware: lean the piece against a wall or use your own stand.
How big are the pieces?
Every product page lists the exact width and height of each piece under Quick facts. As a guide, an arch backdrop is typically 45″ wide by 72″ tall and a single character cutout 24″ to 45″ tall. Most sets can be bought whole or as individual pieces.
What does "scored and folded" mean?
Pieces larger than 24″ on their shortest side are scored and folded flat so they ship safely and cost less to send. Unfold on arrival and the piece stands straight.
How long until my order arrives?
Every piece is made to order in 1–3 business days. Free ground shipping in the continental U.S. then takes 3–5 business days, so most orders arrive within 4–8 business days of ordering. Need it sooner? Choose FedEx 2nd Day Air at checkout. We do not ship to PO boxes.
I have an event date. When should I order?
With standard shipping, order at least two weeks before the event to leave a cushion. With Express (FedEx 2nd Day Air) an order placed early in the week usually arrives the same week. Cutting it close? Text us your date at 954-224-4828 and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, worldwide. International orders go FedEx International Economy or UPS Expedited, with an estimated 5–7 business days in transit after production. Customs duties, VAT and import taxes are the customer's responsibility. Please add your phone number at checkout to help with customs clearance.
Can I personalize a design?
Many designs can be personalized. Look for the personalization box on the product page and type your wording there: a name, a date, a class year. If the design shows sample text, tell us exactly what it should say. Personalized items cannot be returned, so please double-check the spelling.
Can I order a design without personalization?
Yes. Leave the personalization box empty and the design ships as pictured. If the sample wording shown is not right for you, tell us what to print instead, or ask us to leave it off.
Can I buy just one piece from a set?
On most sets, yes. Open the Sets menu on the product page to choose a single piece or the full set.
Are the cutouts reusable?
Yes. Coroplast is waterproof and does not tear, so pieces can be used again and stored flat between events.
What is your return policy?
Contact us within 14 days of delivery to arrange a return or exchange. Items must be in original condition and return shipping is paid by the customer. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, we will make it right. Personalized and custom-printed items cannot be returned. Read the full policy.
Can you print my own artwork or a custom size?
Yes. Use the Custom Print & Cut listing to upload your file and enter your size (27″ to 84″ on the longest side, 3–5 business days turnaround, final sale). We also make custom backdrops and one-off pieces: email info@diypartyprops.com with what you have in mind.
Do you work with event planners and bulk orders?
Yes. For several sets, repeat orders, or something that is not in the shop, email info@diypartyprops.com and we will quote it.
Do you offer local pickup?
Not at the moment. Every order ships.
